The 'International Learning Lab' (ILL) was founded by Maurer United, in order to help young talents to develop themselves within the creative industry. ILL works internationally and multidisciplinary (cross-border all the way).

The 'Laboratory of European Architecture and Urbanism' (L'EAU) is a research consortium by RWTH Aachen, Maurer United and Reicher Haase Assoziierte. The team works on a continuous agglomeration plan between Meuse and Rhine.

The 'Stichting Street Art' (SSA) foundation was inititated to help the municipality of Heerlen to re-brand itself. During the last decade, more than 75 murals were placed throughout the city center. Marc Maurer has been a board member since its beginnings.

The project ‘Superlocal’ was set up as a pioneering project in relation to the theme of ‘Circular Building’. 125 new homes were built with the ambition to reuse only materials, which were released during the demolition of 400 homes on site.

'Embracing Exchange' was founded by Maurer United. Artists and designers (art, jewelry, fashion, interior design, graphic design, architecture) from Cologne, Southern Limburg and Eindhoven were presented at ten different exhitions.

Foundation 'Dutch Design Exchange' (DDX) was initiated in 2012 by Maurer United. The organization helps Dutch designers to work across the borders towards Germany and Belgium. Many (traveling) exhibitions were developed by DDX.

'Baltan laboratories' was founded in 2008 by Maurer United, Telcosystems and digital artist Geert Mul. The laboratory for art and technology is based in Eindhoven and works on pioneering projects by inspiring artists and scientists.

Nicole Maurer Lemmens dedicated her Master Thesis on the cross-over of architecture and fashion. Years later, together with Farida Sedoc, she experimeted further on this theme, resulting into several publications and exhibitions.

The 'INConstruct' team was founded in 1998 by architects Maurer United, artist Boris Tellegen (DELTA) and graffiti artist ZEDZ. The team experiments in the field of typographic space and/or spatial typographics.
